SELF ALIGNING BEARINGS
- Self-aligning ball bearings are designed with a spherical outer ring raceway that allows the bearing to compensate for misalignment between the shaft and housing. They are commonly used in applications where alignment is difficult or shaft deflection is expected, such as transmission shafts or where there’s a need to reduce noise and vibration, like in fans.
